Vineyard Notes
This vintage was significantly cooler than normal years, leading to a late harvest for the region. Paso did not see it’s first heat wave until early July, which pushed harvest back, but allowed a longer fruit hang for the grapes - which is great for the quality!
Winemaker Notes
The winemaking team had a goal to make a rich “California style Rosé” that is a little more voluminous then a Provence style Rosé. The 2023 vintage had 3 hours of skin contact to achieve a rose gold/ copper color. The wine is aged in stainless steel to preserve intensity.
